Happy Holidays!
It is feeling more and more like the Holidays since we just got out of school for Christmas break! While I was coming up with the Christmas Party to New Years Eve look, I realized that we had never made a look book before! I promise we will work on making actual look books in the future but as the Holidays are really busy, we had to use polyvore again. Here are four cozy Holiday looks for you all:
It is feeling more and more like the Holidays since we just got out of school for Christmas break! While I was coming up with the Christmas Party to New Years Eve look, I realized that we had never made a look book before! I promise we will work on making actual look books in the future but as the Holidays are really busy, we had to use polyvore again. Here are four cozy Holiday looks for you all:
For the first look, I paired a Christmas Sweater with white pants. Sweaters are the definition of cozy. Actually, if you look up "cozy" in the dictionary it says "see definition for sweater". I might have made that up. . . but maybe not! I love the contrast of color from the white to the red. It gives a nice but subtle bang! to the look.
For the second look, I paired print leggings with a cream colored wool sweater. While your dictionary is still open, you might notice that under "cozy" the second definitions is leggings! These leggings aren't your typical black leggings, but the print adds something special: it makes it look as if you actually gave a lot of effort to your look! For those of you who are starting in the fashion world, these little things such as prints can change the whole message of an outfit!
For the third look, I chose the simplest go-to look for any occasion. Sweatpants and a plain white top! This is not just a Holiday look. For me that is an all-year long look. This is also great for school since it's like the classy versions of PJ's!
For the fourth and final look, I paired a grey wool sweater with ripped boyfriend jeans. The wool sweater has detailing in it which gives the same effect as the printed leggings: it looks as if you put a lot of thought into your outfit!
I hope you enjoyed these looks and feel free to show us your Holiday looks by sharing your pictures on instagram @xofrenchonistas . Earlier we posted a classy look to go from Christmas to New Years. My polyvore account, if you wish to see more looks or where to get these specific items of clothing, is felicie-jungels .
Lots of love to you all during the holidays <3
